Ability: Blaze  Wick stores heat in his body after every hit he takes (minus Ice and Water attacks), and it soon engulfs him in an aura once he’s taken severe damage.  The heat is extremely intense and can set nearby wooden buildings, etc. alight, so he tries to avoid getting hit as much as possible.

Move Set:

Brick Break--Focusing all his energy into his fists, he slams the opponent's barrier, shattering it on contact.  He also uses this to chop wood, or bend steel.

Dig--Using his long claws, he shreds the ground below him with ease, which allows him to avoid certain attacks.  This move carries a special significance for him, as it saved his life plenty of times from bandits in the deserts.

Flame Charge--Flames wreathe his toned body, and he charges forward toward his opponent at high speeds.

Baton Pass--Normally not one to run from a fight, Wick sometimes keeps this ability on his person to escape when things go south.  Which makes sense, cause it's his least used move.

Aesthetically

Since Wick loves to dig (which is how he made his personal home here in this town), he’s normally not very clean.  More often than not, his feathers are caked in mud, and he doesn’t seem too concerned about his appearance unless it’s a special occasion like a friend’s birthday party.  The three plumes on the top of his head are elongated and thin, curving like the arc of the crescent moon.  He inherited a slimmer, somewhat taller figure from his mother, but inherited his long, curved claws from his father, a Sandslash.  His beak is stubby and round, like a seed eater’s.

Disposition

Wick is a friendly, if somewhat moronic, character, who hates to fight dirty.  Some might say he has a thirst for adventure, diving headfirst into a situation without taking time to adequately prepare. Wick was homeschooled for much of his life, which is why his social skills aren't up to par.   He’s hard on himself whenever he loses or makes mistakes, but tries to find a silver lining even when it seems like there isn’t one.  Despite his lack of self-preservation and thirst for adventure, he loves to meditate and sometimes enjoys time alone.  Patience is, however, one of his weakest aspects, especially around friends who act out or mess up, so he acts assertive and tries to get to the bottom of their troubles.  Intriguingly, he carries a fear of the ordinary, which doesn't do wonders for his waiting at the Guild.

Historically

Wick was once a goods smuggler for his hometown, situated near a small oasis.  Given his own crazy lifestyle--threats from bandits and his mother's own insistence on his fitness and studies--this Combusken is never one to shy away from danger, and when he finally turned twenty he went out on his own in search of adventure.  He hates to read, given he has serious problems with dyslexia and will never bring it up in conversation.  His adventurous spirit made him a prime candidate for the Treasure Hunters’ Division, where he met up with former friend Thomas for the first time in years.  Unfortunately, his reckless disregard for his own well-being on adventures still hadn’t changed, either, leading some to believe he has his own death wish.

Trivial

Wick has few talents of his own, aside from parkour and knowing how to play violin (a talent his mother insisted he learn).  His mother is to blame for his reckless disposition, as she would encourage him to take risks, going so far as to take him on some adventures of her own.

Thomas: Currently his only friend, seeing as Wick has less-than-stellar social skills and hasn't made too much effort to expand his own social circle.
